Recent events in Polish internet culture inspired me to create a slightly provocative but mainly focusing on awareness of work that deals with the topic of pedophilia.

In my opinion, the difficult part of the anti-pedophilia movement is explaining this phenomenon to younger generations. Because how do you talk about it? I am aware that discussing this type of topic may destroy the bubble of safety that the recipient may have created during his still short life, but it is necessary for their safety.

(The target group for this project is 12+)

One of the minimalistic artistic poster with the slogan "Rączki Przy Sobie" and a depiction of a person trying to commit act of pedophilia as a wild boar.

The presentation of such a person as a boar is associated with a children's rhyme, which is also a warning: "The boar is wild, the boar is angry, the boar has very sharp tusks. Anyone who sees a wild boar in the forest quickly runs away to a tree”.

Pedophilia is an ongoing sexual attraction to pre-pubertal children. It is a paraphilia, a condition in which a person’s sexual arousal and gratification depends on objects, activities, or even situations that are considered atypical. Pedophilia is defined as recurrent and intense sexually arousing fantasies, sexual urges, or behaviors involving sexual activity with a prepubescent child or children—generally age 13 years or younger—over a period of at least six months. Pedophiles are more often men and can be attracted to either or both sexes.
